good hit.

  Either his power is still out and he thinks Zimmerman was still batting or Chief, we need a smiley that conveys something begrudgingly.

it may happen. we'll see. Dunn is hot right now and RZ is not so their BAs are skewed. we'll see where they end up at the end of the season.

freaking freak. Nick you are not going to help your trade value taking pitches like that down the middle. :hang:

the SF pitcher that the Nats scouted tonight got a No Decision: 7 IP 10 H 4 ER 0 BB 3 K. He went 2/3 with the bat with a Solo HR.

What the hell does that mean? We're almost 100 games into the season. I bet sportsfan has been staying up late concocting excuses for such scenarios.

Dunn trots home.  HUGE at bat for Alberto!  If there was ever a point at which you doubted his spot in next year's lineup, this should be your evidence that he belongs.

I'd have started him for like 85-90% of this year.  Just didn't think he matched up well vs. a pitcher like Wainwright.  Look at their respective splits and Wainwright's stuff.

I'm certainly not Riggleman, bc Belliard would not have started over The General this week.

I can't believe I spent $70 for MLB.tv to watch the game archived and listen to the audio at work for this team.

Sometimes I wonder if sportsfan's rhetoric is ridiculous enough and prodigious enough that he is known by name in the Nats' clubhouse.  With 40,000 posts I'm sure that any players or coaches who have ever been to this board must have seen at least a couple of SF's doozies.

Does anyone else find Dibble's inability to pronounce everyone's name correctly as hilarious?  I wish they showed the Fukudome commercial still.
