yes, Carpenter is getting salty. This crap keeps happening too frequently. put these freakers away once you get ahead of them. If you are buzzing your fastball by them don't throw a breaking ball down the middle for them to hit.

exactly.  nieves sucks.  if flores wasn't on the DL for 3 months every year, i'd say DFA nieves.  he's garbage and not getting anymore playing time for a reason.

I don't think Nieves sucks, but it's pretty obvious that Bard is outplaying him right now.

why is there a need to play Bard when he is clearly injured? It is not like we are in a pennant race and playing must-win games.

really? i think we could see him as a september callup next year if all goes well. send him to A+ for the 2nd half, AA to start next year, maybe AAA if he does well.
