Austin Kearns sucks.

We have too many black holes on our roster.  [eagleskinsbatsignal]

TAVAREZ?  Hasn't he allowed every inherited runner to score this year?!?!?!

You got it wrong. Jesus Colome is the one who has allowed all of his inherited runners to score (9 for 9).

Tavarez has had 17 inherited runners entering this game and has only allowed just 1 to score. The 6% rate is 2nd in the NL among relievers who have had 10 inherited runners. He is been somewhat reliable.

Morgan makes my point for me that people ripped me on earlier. 0/4 tonight. swinging and missing at everything.

He will be an okay bench player for us but to say he is are starting CFer is hilarious.

and please save it if you are going to say it's only 1 game. I am well aware of that and am just basing this on the guy's career numbers and the type of player that he is.

still like I said, the blame for this loss, as per usual, is on the veteran relievers. this will make 4 losses just this week that are because of those freaking low lifes.

You have a special gift - you're the only person I know who can word an agreement to make it sound like I still disagreed with you

At least Dunn gets up one more time.  Something worth sticking around to watch.    :?

glad Acta put Beimel in there now that we are down 3 instead of putting him in there earlier when the game was close.

Beimel isn't good but he is better than the guys Acta trots out over him every day.

You can have a light-hitting CF in your starting lineup as long as he hits in the bottom of the order.

 what? they jumped all over me earlier today for saying that Morgan is a bench player.

I didn't need to see him play to make that determination. His numbers and age and anything else I could gather about him told me all I needed to know. He can be a good utility guy for us but he is not a lead-off hitter/ML CF starter.

Who gives a freak?! I have stated time and time again that he is a good defensive outfielder that can run and come off the bench for us. He's just not a starter. Willie Harris has made the same plays out there all year. Doesn't mean he is a ML starter.
