Yeah but for this series they're selling standing room only tickets and it appears to be atop the parking garage.

I think standing room is just "wherever" but certainly inside the park.  I highly doubt they sold tickets to stand on top of the garage.

freak YOURSELF MANNY YOU freakING RETARD!!

I love how he always does that. Leaves in a reliever too long and then comes out after he allows a hit/walk and it's already too late.

I wonder if they are selling standing room for around the concourses.  Opening day this year, there were a ton of people standing from the Red Loft around to right field. Probably behind me too, but I wasn't looking that way.

When the last out is recorded the outcome is decisive.
why can't we just lose like 5-1 or 7-2 like a normal team? freak this dagger 1 run loss bullcrap. Papelbon dancing around like a dork in the 9th. Sox fans chanting "let's go Red Sox". this sucks.

I highly doubt the Lerners would allow people on top of the garage who didn't pay stand there and see the game from there as they showed earlier.

I hate this torture bullcrap. I'd rather lose 10-0 to the Sox over this garbage.

Close games are usually good games. I never understand why people say they'd rather have their team get blown out than play in a close, competitive game.

Maybe he needs somebody like you to let him know immediately before a batter is going to get a hit, so he could make the pitching change before, not after.

So you'd rather the Red Sox fans chant let's go red sox for the entire game while they are blowing out the Nats than to hear it briefly in the 9th while we may still have a shot to win the game?  :?

Well saying you'd rather get blown out is a ridiculous thing to say.

Kip Wells. yes, that's the answer

Clippard threw 1.1 perfect innings in Syracuse tonight to lower his ERA to 0.92.

Bergmann tossed an inning of scoreless ball to lower his ERA to 1.02.

Wouldn't you assume they paid to park in the garage?   I'm sure that costs more than a decent in-park ticket.

I'm sure they would want both fares to be paid.

I'm pretty sure we've tried the Bergmann experiment a few times.

close games that we win are good. hate losing them though. suck more than anything, especially against a d-bag team like the Red Sox.

we should have won this game. no offense and too many freak ups on defense and pitching-wise. this was our best chance to win a game in this series.

Why do you keep nagging about not bringing in relievers who are not even on the roster?

anyone with half a brain should be smart enough to make these decisions. What the hell was the point in keeping Villone in there? There was nothing to gain. Acta was lucky Villone got out of last inning unscathed.

You think Smoltz is going to be at the top of his game his first outing?  I doubt it.

and I'd take him over all of our current relievers except MacDougal and Beimel.

against this offense he doesn't have to be "at the top of his game". I bet he'll strike out a bunch and hold us to like 1 or 2 runs.

Our rookie pitchers are probably going to get pounded.
