It's amazing how many times this team can't get a runner home from 3rd with less than 2 outs. If we improved that one statistic by about 25% I bet we would win 10 more games this year. Nobody can put the bat on the ball.....or we swing at the 1st pitch and ground into a 5-2-3 double play. So frustrating.

nothing doing in the bottom of the ninth.. this one will be tough to win with the way our bullpen has pitched and our offense has hit. but I think we can pull it out somehow. we have to. we cannot lose a series to the devil rays

great win for the nats! i highly doubt this dramatic walk off hr by nicky j compares to the zany one zimmerman hit but hey who cares right now given the circumstances! But when you think ab it, the realtion between the yankee series and the current d-rays series are eerily similar.

all let needs to be said is: NATS GIVE RAYS THE WILLIES ( i was waiting for a nats win to say that!)
