Tim Corcoran, RHP (1-0, 2.16)
Corcoran jumped from the bullpen into the starting rotation Saturday night and held the Braves to one run on four hits in five innings work to claim his first Major League victory. The 28-year-old right-hander was selected June 14 from Triple-A Durham and made three relief appearances for the Rays prior to Saturday night's start. Corcoran has never faced the Nationals.

VS

Michael O'Connor, LHP (3-4, 3.39)
O'Connor will face the Devil Rays for the first time in his career. In his last start, he pitched six innings, giving up two runs on six hits against the Orioles, his hometown team. He threw 80 pitches, and 50 of them went for strikes. O'Connor left after a rain delay.

This is an easy sweep for Tampa.. The Nationals are complete garbage right now.  Bergmann, Hill, Rivera and Byrd are minor league players.  Stanton, Jackson, Lecroy and Fick should be released.. Frank Robinson is a joke of a manger... This team effing blowwwwwwwwwws...  We may have the worst record in baseball by the end of the season

What a joke this team is. Robinson needs to go, Soriano needs to go, get rid of Vidro and Guillen, Clayton, Stanton, etc.

Come on Bowden, grow some balls and realize that FR doesn't help this team at all with his managing.

I haven't been so pissed off. We're getting owned by THE DEVIL RAYS AND SOME RANDOM PITCHER.

0-11. Looks like the nats have officialy hit rock bottom. After the blue jays ripped us a new one, i looked at the schedule and saw the D-Rays. To myself i thought, well finally we can get back on track with a sweep of the Devil Rays, guess not! All i can hope for now is 2 of 3. Its a shame

RBI #50 for Ryan Zimmerman, congrats to him! :D

At least now we avoid the shutout.

Under. He'll give up 8 runs in the 1st, 2 in the second, and 3 in the 3rd, while we have 0 hits and 4 errors.

Ryan Zimmerman
