Yeah, we're gonna either win or make Wang look like Brandon Webb!

I have a bad feeling that at least for tonight, Wang 'finds' his sinker.

The national media will praise him as back... that is until his next start where he gets bombed again and he's back to being a bum.

I'm thinking we won't get a win until the final game of the Toronto series.

Tomorrow's Tabloid Headline:

"Lannan beats Wang: Girardi fired after loss to lowly Nats"

Yeah, I hear this is almost considered Wang's last chance to stay in the rotation. How fortunate that chance lands on a day the Yanks play the Nats. He shouldn't be considered "back" if the Nats score one run off him. Period. I consider that fair considering any other team would pound him mercilessly, but the '09 Nationals can't be called "any other team." We are special.

Tell me about it! Whenever my editor gives me the shot to do so, I'm all over it.

So did I back in the day.  Headline writing was my favorite thing to do when I worked at the paper.

Plus, working at a weekly, the mood is so much more laid back than the dailies... it's a world of difference from the cut throat daily.

tonight's game gives us the best chance to win.  if we don't have a run off of wang after the first 4 innings, we're going to lose.  we should win 6-4.  hopefully lannan watched closely yesterday from martis' performance.

Yankees offense is due to have a big game and hit some bombs.

Lannan is due for a down performance.

If I were Lannan I would have been sitting in the clubhouse slamming Jager bombs and carving my initials into my left arm.

I believe Wang and his wife had a baby yesterday.  Probably means he pitches one for the ages tonight.

doubtful but he will face a lot of lefties hopefully he will be able to neutralize. I feel it is only a matter of time before NY's offense explodes again though. we avoided disaster last night and still lost. :?

I don't think we'll be as lucky tonight and tomorrow.

Living in a house of Yankess fans, I'd hate to lose another game to them.

Adam Dunn, please hit a moon shot and shut those "bleacher creatures" the hell up!
