Funny that Detwiler was supposed to get a cup of coffee and Stammen was supposed to stay up. Ros is the man.

Bottom of the fifth can be unnecessary

Turner Classic Movies is airing an all-night Ingmar Bergman festival of films, beginning at 9 pm tonight.  Before The Exorcist fame, (loosely based on a true story in the DC area) Max Von Sydow appeared in many of those Swedish films.  He's still remembered for playing chess against Death in The Seventh Seal (1957), which starts at 9pm.

still they were in the top of the third.

third inning + fourth inning + half of 5th = 2.5 innings

Dunn's BA has dropped 7 points just today.

Down to .262.

I'm not going to complain about one of our pitchers throwing strikes.

Zimmerman's has dropped 40 points since the streak, so what dude?  I'm really sick of your thinly veiled man-love/hate.  Quit being a dumbass.  Unlike a lot of the dumbasses around here, I suspect you're actually smarter than that.

Who was he in Victory? I don't recall him in that movie. I know he was in one of the Conan movies but I forget which.

The hell with Max, I'm still savoring Boz's latest column in which he excoriates the Lerners.  :worship:  :whip:
