Considering Hill just gave up 4 runs and the Nats have an error and only 2 hits, I'm guessing no.

Hill is throwingngood stuff tonite. He's doing alot better than Livan or Armas jr. He goes right after the hitters and isn't scare to get hitted on. Against a patient team like Ortiz you need that kind of pitcher. Livan adn Armas jr seemed like they were always pitching in defense even on the first pitch.

 Nationals 1
 Red Sox 4

I figured we'g go 1-2 against the Yankees and Red Sox, but I also thought we'd go 3-1 against the Rockies, for a 5-5 total.
But we're 2-7. Need a win...
Any chance we could take THEIR Ortiz with us, and leave our Ortiz in Boston?

The Nationals add to their MLB-leading Intentional Walks, so the Red Sox can have another run to drive in - which they DO.  Our selected batter gets an RBI single and the Hill leaves as Lord William Michael Stanton delivers his service on the mount.  Lester has TEN STRIKEOUTS for Boston. Please, please FORFEIT AND RESIGN, Frank.  You are a disgrace!

Oh goody, another Intentional Walk. They'll stop scoring at 11.
We have 3 hits, they have 15.  We know they're good, but plleeease!

This is just unbelievable!

But the sad part is, as bad as the Nationals pitching has been this series, I'm just as embarrassed by our "hitting".  With a $120 million dollar payroll, a team can certainly buy a lot of bat.  The problem is the Red Sox pitching isn't nearly as good as the Nationals have made them look this series.  Our hitters have been befuddled, completely.  Tim Wakefield, for example, was 4-8 going into last night's game, but you couldn't tell that from our hitting performance against him.  Overall, our hitting in this series has been atrocious, barely major league.

I do believe, in addition, that our pitching has been completely intimidated by the Red Sox hitters.  This entire series, they've been way to comfortable in the batter's box.  What I wouldn't have given to see a few Red Sox batters, knocked on their asses!
