In softball? If you're breaking wood bats in softball you're doing it wrong.
I don't play softball. I still play hardball.
Coaching my son's U12 Fall team. Hitting fungoes and throwing BP.
Playoffs are coming up and my buddy tore his Achilles heel on his first fielding attempt in the game and has bad headaches from bone spurs recently. He's in his early 50s, but he's in crazy shape so I'm sure he'll recover a lot faster than I would.
Ouch. Hope the insurance is good...
Where in NoVA can you get gloves repaired?
Just need a catcher's glove re-laced
Do it.
Use your phone to get some video while you unlace the glove. It's easy enough. Good time to clean the glove too.
Meh ... my time > my money
Good point. Just buy a new one.
Those UA cough All-Star mitts are pretty sweet.
So .... uh .... how do you play slow pitch softball sober?
Have a beer waiting for ya on the bench/afterwards
Can't. Work function. Hence why I'm asking how you play sober . . .
What kind of extra curricular work functions don't have drinking?
Mock everyone for playing a sissy sport designed to have everyone on the field (including the umpires who have to watch that crap) drunk.
