This year doesn't matter. They're planning for the future! Where the hell have you been? In a couple years we're going to have all the pieces in place and we'll be a contender then. The Plan (TM) is in place damn it, don't diss The Plan (TM)!

This guy had a plan too. We all know how that worked out.  ;)

haha we've scored 1 run against livan hernandez (runners stranded all over the place) and have given up 6 to the Mets who are fielding a AAAA-esque line-up.  manny acta doesn't argue on the call he should.  and the one relief pitcher who had been pitching well gets shelled and doesn't retire a batter.

i don't know how much more i can take of this.  but again manny/kasten/lerner think all is well in natstown.  i hate the plan.

That reminds me of that band, The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Seeing Sheffield's line for the night reminded me, although I realize I'm behind on this. But an old man in MLB terms who had four home runs all year comes in against the Nats and hit's a home run two games in a row. If that truly doesn't sum up the absurdity and horrificness of this team, I don't know what does. Do we not have any scouts, or does Manny just ignore them? Such a joke.

Alright, we just need a grand slam... err, a grand slam and a two-run home run, to win this! We're still in it!

Sure I do.  If I thought the team was going to be this bad for the next 30 years like some of you guys seem to, I'd:

[sf] go kill myself :hang: [/sf]

we won't be horrible for the next 30 years, but it'd sure be nice to have a team worth watching and a First-Class Organization that is run excellently now.

I don't want an instant World Series. I just want a team, in THE CURRENT SEASON(whatever year it happens to be at the time) that isn't the laughingstock of all sports.

the "current season doesn't matter" plan sucks.

I think our advance scouts double as the janitorial staff at Nats park.

lol, Johan tomorrow night. Hahaha. The only reason I might turn that on is to see a potential perfect game. Can you say "Sweep"?

My God..there is no way that the FO can possibly justify keeping Manny as the manager of this team. This whole staff needs to go, except for Eckstein. It's so frustrating watching this same crap night after night.

Ok...that's my rant for the night.

Poorly prepared, poorly managed. The advance scouting stinks, the gameplan stink, and the manager convinces the team they have no shott against anyone but bad relief pitchers.

I can't defend AZ's completely illogical hatred of Dunn and obsession with Dukes, but this lineup needs a healthy Dukes in the center of it. He should take over RF when he comes back.
