I thought they said he wasn't going to sub him. I definitely see that as a stupid move. It's not like Belliard is an upgrade at 1B. I still don't buy that this team would be any better with a different manager. I always feel safe on the opposite side of an argument that sportsfan advocates.

I think we'd have a few more wins if we had a good manager here this season, but we really wouldn't notice it because we'd still be last in the division. I just want a manager here who will get the most out of the roster. Manny just doesn't know what he's doing.

Belliard is a downgrade at 1st base.
Dunn is left-handed and much taller. Belliard is too short to play 1st.
