That was an error on someone. I watched the replay. Hernandez could have handled it and had him by a step.
The official scorer didn't think so.

Gave Feliz a hit on the play.

Well the replay showed the throw from Colome was a perfect strike, in time to get the runner, but apparently Hernandez was watching Zimmerman instead and did not see the throw coming right at him.

It was scored a hit and error on Colome.

Also, the announcers are wrong. Bruntlett would have still brought in runs on his double.

You watched it just then, and still think that was Colome's fault?

Official scorers often change the scoring.

It doesn't matter what I think.

I'm just going with what the official scoring was thinking. :)

I blame Colome. He HAS to eat that ball.

how? he threw a strike to 1st, the runner is out if Hernandez is not a retard.

Yes, because you are always such a conventional thinker, never contrary.  :)

Yeah it was definitely Hernandez's fault... but I just wanted to complain about my disdain of Colome.

Just helped that the scorer gave me a reason to do so!

Carpenter: "Zimmerman hammers it..."

If Utley has been up Carpenter would have said "Chase Utley grounds softly to Hernandez..."

new all-time low in nationals history.  but we continue to accept mediocrity.

manny acta has to go.   i just don't understand why they are so high on him?  cuz he's young?!?!  well the whole team is young!  b/c he was with the mets?!?!  the mets haven't won crap in years.

make a move now to somewhat salvage this embarrassing season.

Ha ha. If Kearns is out there he's waiting for for two seconds on the warning track... but for Dunn, it was a hell of a run.

Mediocrity?  I'd accept mediocrity.  We're way worse than mediocrity.  Mediocrity would be a big upgrade.

Beimel needs to throw that curve more. That's his pitch.

When it bites. Last few outings, it's been hanging.

Maybe the filthies will be dumb enough or bullpen depleted enough to put Lidge back out on the field.

As long as he puts them down 1-2-3 he can throw anything he wants.

Too bad, he's leaving Eyre in instead of Lidge.
