Some early quotes from this game thread.

I did say "might"!  :D

...and it's still possible.  If we lose this game, this WILL be rock bottom!

That's when I realized that I'd enjoy this game more without the GD thread. It's definitely better sometimes.

I'm not going to lie, I lost hope at that point but I stayed around and watched anyway.

That's the first time I've seen Flores frame the ball this season. He needs to do that more often.

ok i'm tired. going to bed.
We only need TWO more outs!  You'll just lay there wondering if they got them, might as well wait a few...

everyone lost hope. anyone that says otherwise is freaking stupid.

teams don't come back from 6-0 deficits in the first inning very often.

Actually if you're going to come back from a hole it is easier or more likely when the hole is dug in the first inning.

I've seen him do it quite often actually.

I agree, he doesn't ever do it and I think it costs us a lot of strike calls.

I honestly never lost hope. And the crying in here (not from you) gives me a headache. Especially this late.

I think a lot of us would feel like morons about now if we weren't so happy the Nats are going to win this ballgame.

I didn't. I was sitting downstairs reading a book and came up here in time to catch the bottom of the 6th... so I guess I cheated. :D

Really? Every time I've seen him catch a close pitch, he moves and starts his motion to throw it back to the pitcher. It's frustrating.

If you're going to come back from being 6 runs down, that's the best time to give them up, you've got the whole game to chip away.

Now we only need to win two of our next 8 to have a better start than the '07 club.
