AK is a beast.  We need to have this guy in the lineup everyday.

I see Joe Torre is taking the Manny Acta approach to his pitcher - ie, let him suffer.

It's crazy how some of you are so worried about that type of crap.

to a certain extent, yes, it is nice to pick up your pitcher after he had a rough first and then pitched 5 solid innings.  If for nothing else, he will get a confidence boost.

eagleskins loves AK so you'll see it about every full moon.

This is all Torre's fault!

Actually, it is REALLY good to see that after getting blown to smithereens in the first, he destroyed a distinctly un-DC steeliness and locked down the Dodgers for five.

I request the following:

Willingham solo HR double - good enough
Flores single walk - so wish semi-granted
Hernandez single wish granted!
Belliard Kearns flyout double - wish exceeded! (2 RBI)
Guzman K wish granted, sadly
Johnson double (2 RBI)
Zimmerman double (RBI)

Why not? It was 60 MPH. He messed up his timing.

NJ has been pretty cold at the plate lately, but I have a feeling he is about to come through big right here.

it was actually an 81 mph change-up. MASN's gun was off.

great pitch but usually you can rely on Guz to make contact
