Livan Hernandez, RHP (4-5, 5.10)
Hernandez will face the Braves for the 23rd time in his career. He is 2-14 with a 5.05 ERA against them. In his last start, Hernandez pitched seven innings and gave up two runs on five hits against the Phillies. The performance gave indication that Hernandez's right knee, which was surgically repaired this offseason, is no longer a problem.

VS.

Tim Hudson, RHP (5-3, 3.99)
Hudson had his sinker and split-finger fastball working effectively again in his last start as he picked up his fifth win of the season. The right-hander induced 11 groundball outs and recorded seven strikeouts as the Dodgers constantly seemed late catching up to his pitches. For the fourth time in his last five starts, Hudson limited his opponents to two runs or less. He is 1-0 with a 1.23 ERA in three career starts against Washington.

It might be an exaggeration but not an overexaggeration. They're hitting isn't consistent enough for it to be an overexaggeration.

Damian Jackson didn't swing at the pitches down the middle but he struck out swinging on a pitch in the dirt.

I thought that one was gone, but it was way short.. We haven't scored any runs yet but atleast we are making Hudson throw alot of pitches (43 thru 2inn).

Livan sounds like he's pitching like the beginning of the season.
Suicide squeeze two plays in a row fails. Short toss gets him out.

Well hudsons pitch count is almost at 60 now, so that is the good news I guess, although hopefully we will get a little rally going.
