The humor is a little sophomoric, and a little wierd some times, but it has some inventive moments. Chevy Chase is in it. It's alarming to see how hold he is.

I haven't seen it, but someone was discussing it at a party Sat

I watch the Nats & the news.  The show "Community" sounds pretty funny from what I've heard

I watched the video last night, hilarious. JT clearly has a gift for comedy, he'd be a great addition to the cast. My fav though is still the Peyton Manning United Way bit... AWESOME!

Pretty much just the Nats and MLB Network for me.  Oh, and "Unsolved Mysteries" reruns...

Robert Stack was better in both Amazon Women on The Moon and Transformers.

Yeah, I did. Why? He was good on there, I just think that Manning surprises people with his comedy.

Has anyone seen a new show about a community college ?

Community is a pretty outstanding show, Parks and Rec is the funniest thing on tv imo.

Just enjoying Game of Thrones and anxiously awaiting the return of Breaking Bad.

i thought the Brady skit was similar, with Brady surprisingly playing a gangster.

I've only ever seen like two episodes of The Big Bang Theory until today. I watched the first three episodes today and laughed my ass off. You can watch every episode here: http://www.watch-the-big-bang-theory.com/

I can't believe it took til now to start watching.

I don't really know the backstory that much so who was that at the end of episode 8? Was Sub Zero actually present?

The guy was Quan-Chi. The guy with him, with the long hair was Shang Tsung

In the "official story" Quan-Chi tricks Scorpion into thinking Sub-Zero destroys his village and kills him... and thus (dead/demon) Scorpion kills Sub-Zero, even though it really wasn't him (it was Quan-Chi). From there, Quan-Chi turns dead Sub-Zero into Noob Sabot, and the new Sub-Zero is Sub-Zero's younger brother.

Ahhh that's right. I knew bits and pieces of the story but that clears it up. I always thought Scorpion was made to be the "bad guy" and Sub-Zero was the "good guy" but that was when I was young and crap.

it's an awesome show, you have to watch it all.

So I need a new show to watch this summer... my current shows are Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, The Office (although that's in limbo... the season finale was terrible and I can rarely discern these things), Community, and The Big Bang Theory. As you can see, I go for more of the comedy shows, so don't suggest CSI or NCIS or something. Any ideas?

Merged the MK talk posts into the video games thread as I hadn't originally realized that I was posting said things in the TV thread.

Game of Thrones just had its episode that will take everyones souls until the show is over. This episode was almost on par with the episode in The Wire that took everyones souls.

Yeah, I wish so badly I hadn't realized how screwed Stark was when he was arrested and desperate to know how he got out of it. That was a big mistake on my part.

Yeah. It was a shocking scene.

I thought they would get word that Jamie was captured before but I was so wrong.
