Isn't it fascinating that a network signs actors to 6-7 year contracts based on a strong pilot? He was the guy from the Daily Show at the time.

hadn't he already done 40 year old virgin and anchorman?

Sad to see the show go, but it's run its course.  I haven't really laughed at anything since the wedding episode and Michael hooking up with Pam's mom.

Finished Community. I have to say, the second half of the season was much more enjoyable than the first half. So is Jeff with Annie now? I'm actually kinda hoping he goes with Brita, because she stopped being a nag like she was in semester 1 and is cool now. I like Annie a lot, but I don't think she and Jeff fit together. And I no longer like Slater for being a nag now in the last episode.

SPOILER ALERT (dont scroll or copy and paste if dont want to know what happens with Annie)

Annie and Jeff get together. Annie is the hottest on the show, hands down.

How far do they get together though? They just show the kiss. Do they have sex after? And how would Brita respond to that?

Isn't Brita a water filter?

Isn't Brita a water filter?

Troy: Five letters; “Broadway musical.”
Abed: Annie.
Troy: Uh, six letters; “To puncture”
Abed: Pierce.
Troy: A water filter that starts with “B”.
Abed: Brita.
Troy: Okay. Here’s a tough one, though. Uh, Helen of…
Abed: Troy.
Troy: Oh, damn, you’re good!
Abed: Thank you.
Troy: I never even heard of that last one. All right, “one of the two brother actors. Bridges.” Four letters.
Abed: Hmm…
Troy: I know! Bridges.
Abed: I don’t know.
Jeff: C’mon guys, can you see the pattern there? Can you see it? It’s Beau…Beau Bridges! These are all things you can see on TV…Except for “pierce”… That’s a misdirect.
Troy: Oh!
Abed: Hmmm.
Troy: I love misdirects.
Abed: I love The Big Lebowski.

When I was a kid, I loved Real World New Orleans.

I think that was the last of the show I ever saw, though.

that was one of the best seasons ever.  In fact the cute blonde girl Kelley married actor Scott Wolf.

Anthony Bourdain calls it the best show ever on TV.

BTW, new episodes of "No Reservations" are now airing on Mondays.

Anthony Bourdain is the man.  I love when he's on Top Chef as a guest judge.  Though Eric Ripert is the best guest judge.

Nobody can top Tom Colicchio and Padma.

By the way ... first episode of Entourage this season was pretty damn good.  Better than all of the ep's from last year.

Season 2 my friend.

This is gonna be great. Community is my second favorite show now, these are my official tv show rankings:

1. The Big Bang Theory
2. Community
3. How I Met Your Mother
4. Entourage
5. Leverage
6. The Office

After watching so many awesome shows, The Office has kinda lost its appeal. Also, the last two or three seasons haven't been as good as the first ones.

Really? I thought it was a good episode, but not a great one.

the TV show is based off the book/movie, but with all different characters/town/everything. the foundation is pretty much the same: small texas town that treats football like religion. it's a great show. really draws you in with the characters and it all feels so plausible/real, which i feel like you don't get with a lot of drama shows. just my opinion.

Predator vs. Alien.

Okay, I think Predator has Alien beat tech wise, way too many cool weapons, however Aliens definitely have tres cool tails. I mean, not everyone can have a tail like that.

Anyone know why Requiem allegedly takes place in what, somewhere like Gunnison, CO?? I mean, I've been there, it's a nice town, and I can see it being invaded by spring breakers, but alien life forms? Really? Oh, and I guess i missed that nuclear power plant, too.  v

Itunes?

By the way the original series of V is free on wb.com -  but the 2 miniseries were a lot better than the full-season series.

If you buy 7 dollars worth of mp3s, you get 4 dollars back to amazon on demand, pretty great deal. I absolutely love Amazon on Demand - nothing to install, it just streams.
