The series premiere of Treme is on right now on HBO. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to watch it, though. Pretty solid cast.

Upcoming TBS programming:

    * George Lopez
    * The Critic
    * King of the Hill
    * Malcolm in the Middle
    * Two and a Half Men
    * That '70s Show
    * Everybody Hates Chris
    * Step by Step
    * Boy Meets World
    * Scrubs
    * Conan O'Brien
    * American Dad!

I keep my TV on TBS when sports aren't on. All of these shows are coming this year.

I'm guessing that Step by Step and Boy Meets World are replacing Saved by the Bell and Fresh Prince in the morning. That works for me.

I actually like most of these shows. George Lopez and Malcolm in the Middle are the only ones I don't really like.

Huh...  I usually think of TBS as generally sucking, but that actually is a pretty good lineup.

I love TBS for the Office and Family guy, as well as the occasional Old School/Hitch movie marathon. When is Scrubs and American Dad coming?

George Lopez sucks.

I think Scrubs will replace Yes Dear in the afternoons pretty soon. Not sure about American Dad.

Scrubs is on 5 or 6 networks. My DVR can always find an episode.

There's some hilarious discontinuity in the plot if I remember correctly.

No, it's awesomeness.

Take Family Matters. Richie aged like 4 years all at once, Aunt Rachel was phased out, and Judy walked upstairs and never came down again.

At the time yes, but at the time, I was 14 too.  So it was ok.  I'm not sure her "hotness" has carried over into adulthood.  Haven't seen her do much since then.

Not really. The only thing they really changed about the whole show was three specific things.

One, Toapanga originally hated Cory when the show started. When they got together a few seasons in, they changed the story to Cory and Toapanga forever... and that they fell in love on the playground when they were like 4 or 5.

Two, Morgan, Cory and Eric's sister was played by two different actresses through the years. The show would make mention of this by saying something like 'Morgan, you look different' *look at the camera and kind of wink* and move on with the scene.

Three, Eric went from a mild mannered High School student to a borderline insane person through the years. Sane at the beginning, Eric was the comedic relief in the later seasons.

I believe the age difference between Cory and Eric decreased as well.

As Cory got older Eric stayed the same age.

Ah.  Pretty sure I don't get that channel with Comcrapst.

If you have the On Demand feature with Comcast, click on TV Entertainment, then page down and click on BBC America.  They have 5 episodes of Top Gear available to view.
 :uk:
[But I've never actually watched that show.  Saw commercials for it.]

Can't watch On Demand for channels you don't get.
