NBC has cut The Cape from thirteen episodes to ten. Not at all unexpected. It was obvious from the start that it was going to bomb.

freak.  Easily my favorite show so of course people don't like it.  Go watch some more Glee you freaking unevolved ape nages.

I like it as well. I'm merely saying that it was easy to see that it would fail. People prefer realistic superheroes to campy superheroes now.

God damn it. It was a truly fantastic show, perfectly written with excellent characters and actors well cast. It was as realistic as super hero stories get, yet written in a way that told a compelling story without super powers with a semi-believable villain that wasn't over the top. Said villain was expertly cast. It was just an all around good story that looked like it had legs to go on for a while without getting stale. But most importantly of all, it had Keith freaking David. And it had Keith David in a role that fit him well. He should have broken out years ago, but he's always been mitigated as a z-list actor, hell, not even that. Most of his work is voice-overs, even though his voice is phenomenal and unique. I've worshipped the ground he walks on since I first heard him as Goliath on Gargoyles as a kid. The only negative of the show so far is The Cape's kid. He's an annoying little brat who I cannot stand, and he needs to get a damn haircut.

I just hope they aren't lowering the episode order to give us more of The Event. For everything The Cape is doing right story wise, The Event is crapping all over. Easily one of the worst written sci-fi/fantasy stories on TV in a long, long, long time.

"The Chicago Code" was really, really lame.  A very, very watered down version of "The Shield", which was bad ass.

It's okay, but a little too slow and predictable, IMO.

It was the one with diarrheaphragm and the fake SNL intro. I was dying. "SMELLS LIKE PUP!"

"Be happy with your pennis!"
Prolonged use of the Diarrheaphragm can cause Diarrheabedis though, so you gotta be careful.

I feel bad for shows like this. It has so much potential but just ends because of the competition and lack of interest during the time of its release. Reminds me of Freaks and Geeks. That had the potential to be one of the greatest shows but it died during its first season. It then re-sparked interest when people learned who all Judd's cast were.

I do like the commercials that focus on the female lead. I haven't watched the show yet.

Welp... Friday Night Lights is over. Sort of sad to see shows end especially ones like this. Not because of the story but because I remember watching it when it first came on. I was a Junior/Senior in high school. I remember discussing it in class and stuff. It's weird how shows can stick with you for awhile. Lost was another one of those shows. I was a sophmore in high school when it started! The only other show I really have left is How I Met Your Mother and Always Sunny. 24 was another one of those shows as well. :\

The end of Friday Night Lights is the saddest moment in my TV watching life. Best show I've ever seen.

I love that show and will keep every season DVD with me for the rest of my life. The writing, the characters, the stories, the moments, everything about that show was great. I'm going to re-watch it on NBC this spring but I sure will miss it.

An Australian girl in my class here in England told me that Friday Night Lights is "the best TV show ever." I thought its appeal was limited to Americans/football fans but apparently not!

Side note: My flatmate here was an extra in FNL. He was "Strip Club Patron No 2"
