While the company claims that there is "no evidence" that credit card information has been compromised, it won't rule out the possibility.

Translation: they have your credit card info.

I just ordered a new card.

Sony idiots.

Epic battle in Denegar's Stand.  Wave after wave showed up, and then the Claw of Regulos came!

Me and my trusty Skeletal Stalwart, Leonardmccoy, along with about 30 other players took about
10 minutes to finally bring him down.  Then we all went our separate ways and continued our
quests.  It was definitely not something that occurs in Azeroth.

Here is my Steam profile with some random screenshots.:

It's definitely not getting old for me. I'm just playing solo for now. I have two campaigns going. Egypt and Greece.
Nice nice, me and you should play online sometime maybe.

So.  Just got off the phone with my mom, a person she works with just had over $100 stolen from their account apparently from the PSN thing.  So much for "they don't have credit card numbers."  :?

I don't know wtf was going on last night, but I took a porticum to Meridian in Rift and instead of a beautiful starry sky, it was all blackish and purple, so I rode out and ho-ly crap, MASSIVE rifts and invasion forces everywhere!

So, I haven't played video games in like 5 years. I'm thinking about getting Portal 2 for PC since it's in sale. Should I? Can you play coop on the same machine? How do I know if I have a "DirectX 9" graphics card - I know what DirectX is, but that is a bizarre-sounding distinction.

I've been checking my accounts daily. Low and behold one of our cards was stolen. It was my wife's and it was TiVo's server that got hacked.

What I can't wait for is for one of the many SaaS EMRs to get hacked and patient medical data to make it out onto the internet.

What graphics card does your pc have?  DirectX 9 is a version of DirectX, just like OpenGL has versions.  The current version is DirectX 11, but 9 came out long ago and any decent gpu that isn't ancient should be compatible.  A lot of games still require a DirectX 9 gpu.

Valve recommends some special launch options for my crappy intel graphics card, lets see if that works. I also got 3D-analyze.

The audio is all jumpy and I can't see anything. I'm pretty sure the pixel shading is the problem. Does anyone have a link to one of those programs that tricks the game into thinking you have pixel shading? Also, could the jumpy sound be because I installed to a USB harddrive?

Any one else played through Mortal Kombat yet?

I'm at the final boss fight.

How the hell do you beat Shao Kahn? Duck the spears and teleport, superman/uppercut him and teleport away? What an ass. I can't stand this fight!

True, I'm looking forward to that and LA Noire.  I just replayed Elder's Scrolls IV recently, so that has me pretty pumped for V.

finally finished Call of Duty: Black Ops for xbox360 ... solid story and game play.  the beginning isn't great, but there are some pretty cool features in the later levels and the story develops nicely (some parts are pretty predictable, while others are kinda confusing).

The early screenshots for Skyrim are simply amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on that.
