It almost seems that we ground into double plays more often than not. But seriously, Vidro has killed some rallies for us this year, despite his good BA.

I don't mean to get on Vidro, but his hits are like Sammy Sosa homers, they just come at inopportunate time, and never when you really need them.

You've played infield before. Man iahted playing infield. I had to play third base. That position is hard. I dare anbody to try throwing a perfect ball to first base from there. I played one game at ss and 2 at third. I mostly played rf though. Man thats the esiest position to play. AIn't that many left hand batters or switch hitters in hs.

A winnable game that we didn't put away. Chevrolet Player of Game was OUR pitcher, Hill, who did great.

We have to win games like this especially with a AAA call up giving up ONE run. Now tomorrow is a must win.

Stanton is listed as the losing pitcher by Sportsline.
He never should have been in the game - I suspect he's on the list of 6 veterans that Kasten wanted Tav to cut, (but wouldn't since the sale hasn't closed.) So Frank wants to help Stanton but costs the team the game. "Damn Yankees" in reverse.

I saw the Chief post very late - he probably did.
Vidro leads the team in getting into DPs with 9.
His At Bats as of yesterday: 147 | Flyball: 34.7% | Groundball: 51.7% | Strikeout: 13.6% | GIDP: 5.4%
Maybe he should be lower in the lineup - he's killing rallies.
Stanton is now 1-5. This is happening too much. He's put 42 men on base in 22 innings.
Let's hope that Hill is a healthy Patterson. They both played well after returning from the slow-healing Tommy John surgery. I think Petterson will be chronically hurt though, so Hill's a nice pickup.
