The Marlins should be on a nine game losing streak!  >:(

No disagreement here.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Jeremy Hermida Show (one every one of these plays, the ball was in his glove, and he dropped it):

They are crucifying David Wright in NY right now and rightfully so. he's killing that team. so unclutch.

0/2 today with a K and a Double Play.

He just let a routine hopper go right between his legs too.

Yeah; somebody compared him to Cabrera, but did anyone expect him to be worse than Cabrera?

The NL East is so pathetic.

Florida 14-11
Philadelphia 12-10 (0.5 GB)
Atlanta 11-13 (2.5 GB)
New York 10-13 (3 GB)
Washington 6-17 (7 GB)

:? god, if we could just string together a few wins we would be right back in this nag.

Wow, I didn't realize everybody else was still sucking.  To think this was the toughest division in baseball a few years ago :?

I (and some other members of this board) appear to have been dead on: this division is going to be about who sucks the least. Sportsfan is right - hell, if we put a "few wins together," we're right in the middle of this crapweasel division.

Anybody want to guess which 2B has both the worst BA (beneath the Mendoza line) and worst FPCT among qualifiers for that position, and is thus unquestionably the worst 2B in the NL?

For what it's worth, this alleged ballplayer has already left 62 men on base, had a GIDP, another runner PO on a non-DP/non-FC, putting him on pace to fail to drive in an eye-popping 384 base runners; and his 4 errors thus far have accounted for 3 unearned runs.  Oh, and he's accomplished these feats while already sitting out two complete games.  Otherwise, it would be 415 fails for driving in base runners.  He's left 4 or more men on 6 times in the 25 games he's played, and yet inexplicably is hitting failing in the 5 hole.

Chan Ho Park is currently out-pitching Johan Santana in a nothing-nothing game in the 7th against the Mets at Citi Field

Ah nevermind, they were batting him but they pulled him back and PHed for him with a man on 2nd and 2 out.

Danny Boy is hitting 9 11 points below his weight.  Unfortunately, it's his BA that is on NutriSystem.

ESPN commentators just remarked that Scott Eyre's 7.20 ERA is all from one outing

No mention of the Nats, of course :?
