You win last night. If you watched, there was beautiful suicide squeeze bunt for the 3d run by Andrus, who turned it into a hit by beating the throw. At least my fantasy team got 3 steals from Andrus and Curz last night, and a decent inning from Okajima.

This will be an interesting test for Buchholz. He's likely to get two more starts, at least.

David Price is getting hammered. Just gave up a solo dinger to Jose Bautista on the first pitch of the second inning. 1.1 IP, 3 ER. Sportsfan probably thinks he's crap.

He's always had that potential. Looks like he may be figuring things out at this level. If he keeps it up, him and Greinke at the top of the KC rotation could be a nice little 1-2 punch.

Meche and Bannister get to slot in at #3 & #4, too, where they should be. Meche as an overpaid 3d starter.

I also loved seeing Soria going for two innings last night for the save. They get so few save opportunities I think Hillman gets it - Soria needs to be his own set up man.

Did anyone look at Callis's last chat? someone asked in his lightening round "Matusz - Tillman - Arrieta or Strasburg - Zimmermann - Lannan" and he said edge to the Os, slightly. If it is even close at all that says somethign huge about Tillman.

You'll be shocked to learn I agree with you. At some point, Lannan has to get his props. Of course, Strasburg has not even pitched in the minors.

Gave up solo shots to Jacobs, Callaspo, and Olivo.

Did you watch him at all? It wasn't a good outing, but the kid has filthy stuff. He looked pretty damn nervous out there tonight.

no I didn't watch any of it.

I don't see why he was nervous. The O's are terrible, the Royals are worse, and he was at home.

Birds are 2-9 since the All-Star Break and are in danger of losing 3 straight at home to lowly KC.

As we have seen before with many of the O's pitching prospects they have always been highly regarded and have been busts in the Majors.

I'm sure Tillman will be fine but to claim that some of these guys like Arrieta who is getting rocked in AAA routinely are going to be beasts is laughable at this point.
