Add "bunting" to the fundamental the next manager needs to work on, in addition to base running, fielding by pitchers, etc, etc, etc

Worst part of it is that if Nick had been running, it would've been bases loaded.

You know, eventually we're NOT going to get out of those 2-on no-out jams.  O'Connor has been good but also extremely lucky so far.

O'Connor rocks...

he's quickly becoming my favorite pitcher, besides J-Patt.

Yeah, it's a damn shame they'll probably just send him back down once Patterson comes off the DL :(

Tendonitis is a nagging problem that takes forever to heal.  I'd keep O'Connor and let JP rest a lot between starts.  If Livan doesn't improve, what does it cost us to just release him? I don't see sending O'C down, he's proven himself and won't get better in the minors.  Got out of ANOTHER tough inning. THIS GUY IS CHARMED!!!

instead of cutting Livan, which is never gonna happen, i say we cut eischen and ortiz and call up Bray and keep OC

That sounds good to me!  Eischen is a disaster and Ortiz leads the majors in errors by pitchers.

When was the last time we hit the ball out of the infield in this game?

Ward misplayed that ball badly.

It would still be 0-0 if not for that mistake :(

Carpenter brought up something that I've noticed as well...  we are 3rd best in the league in homers, but 3rd worst in scoring.  We just can't get multiple base hits.  Most of our wins come from the long ball.

Zimmerman called out on a strike WAY outside off the plate.  This ump must have a lazy eye or something.

Part of Angelos deal.  Balls will be strikes against Washington.  We must also be required to bring in Rodriguez as a reliever.

Well here we go.  It's slipping away.  Not that we ever had a grip on it anyway.

30,320 announced attendance, and from the looks of things, that number is pretty close to actual attendance.

I didn't think it was possible but Wiki Gonzalez might actually be slower than Matt LeCroy.

F-Rod now has given up 21 hits, 11 walks, and 17 ER in 23.1 IP this season, with 4 HR and 6.56 ERA.

Oh boy, Eischen warming up.  I guess Frank thinks losing 4-0 isn't good enough (or bad enough?)

Nevermind, 5-0 now.

why the hell does FR keep Rodriguez in there? 4 ERs in 1+ innings.

it must be because they have the same initials.

another hit for the O's. F-rod should be kicked in the nuts and then cut.

Lots of boos.  Dunno if it's for Tejada being HBP or just for Frod sucking.

Finally Rodriquez makes a pitch we can be proud of!
