Morris making debut for Hagerstown has give up 3 runs in 3 IP so far.

Espinosa hit his 10th HR of the season. his first bomb in a real long time.

Hopefully Meyers was just on a pitch count in his first start back because he only went 3.2 innings.

he quickly got the first two outs in the 4th and then was taken out in favor of VanAllen who promptly gave up 2 singles and a double. :?

other than a few errors, it sounds like desmond has really figured it out.  he's batting .333 for the chiefs, stealing bases, getting on base in general and is making some nice plays out there.  the announcing team is raving about how he turns the double play and how strong of an arm he has.  (he just made a web gem as i was typing this)

sounds like he is pretty close to getting ready.

Desmond has 5 errors in 14 games in Syracuse but has also turned 17 DPs in that stretch which is ridiculous.

announcing crew said it's b/c he's forcing the issue ... trying to make too good of a play.  sounds like he is trying too hard - which is better than a felipe lopez lolly gagging out there.

I cannot believe how many balls are hit to Desmond though. I've never seen anything like it. it's every game too.

He has turned 2 DPs in the last two innings.

not bad not great. too many base runners. needs to go deeper into games.

Saul Rivera gives up 3 walks and 2 runs in the 6th. bum. :bang:

PS: Storen is on in the 8th inning for Potomac with a 2-1 lead. Atwood was brilliant, again.

1st professional walk by Storen. high fastball on a 3-2 count that the batter appeared to go around on but Storen didn't get the call.

hell yeah, clutch RBI Triple by Michael Martinez to give the P-Nats a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 8th.

Storen is now in line for the win despite blowing the save.
