Unfortunately for them, once they gain the the reputation of being hard-assed pricks to deal with, it's going to be one more strike against us in attracting quality players, coaches, scouts, whatever. Not insurmountable, even Steinbrenner could hire people if he paid them enough, but not a plus for the organization.
On the matter of Hill, it seems NOTLD needs some affirmation
. Yes, for $500k, even $750k, Hill is a talent worth taking the minor risk for. It's clear he's not being counted on, so anything he can give us is a plus.
