I'm a tequila fan, though I rarely drink it because the last time I did I had my ass up in the air and my face planted in floor.

Hopefully you weren't in jail at the time..........

Have you stocked up for the season?

Recent diabetes diagnosis.  Gotta take it easy on the sauce so I need the Nats to improve - otherwise I'm looking at Depression.

That's an RU grad for ya.

We're going to need a lot of it.  All of us.  Even the underage kids in AZ, CMDterps, Sportsfan.*

*DISCLAIMER: HammondsNats does not provoke underage drinking.

I believe sportsfan and AZ will be of age at some point this season so they're good to go. I can't believe you would throw your own brother under the bus.  :?

You can get him one of those covers to hide the true label of his brew.

That sucks.

I've had Makers before and I enjoyed it, but I still always go for Old Reliable:

^  That crap made me laugh my ass off. How funny would it be to see a group where we're all openly drinking brew or some other spirit and you see cmdterps holding a paper bag concealing what appears to be a 40.

I don't know what it is, but I've always preferred Makers over JD.  One day I'll become enough of a coniseur (sp?) to understand it.

After finishing the 40, cmd can pass the bag to hammondsnats who can put it over his head with the words, "we should've signed Adam Dunn" written in black magic marker on it

I'm more of a rum or vodka drinker if anything (when speaking of liquor).  I usually stick to my trademarked Miller Lite.

Bourbon vs Sour Mash. I prefer Jameson's. But to each his own.

To each his own, I guess. But if you ever get the chance, pick up a bottle of:

It's a little more smoother than regular JD, awesome taste, and can pound you flat.

I'm not a big Irish Whiskey guy.  I definitely like the Burbon/mash variety.

Aren't both Makers and JD Sour Mash? I thought I read that somewhere.

If I want to get trounced, I'll take an Old English 800 or Mickey's 40oz. If I just want a chill beer, I can't take the cheap, standard stuff like the Millers, Buds, etc. I need something like a Leinies.

Yes you do.

On New Years I had Soco shots and Patron, I dont think i was face in the floor ass in the air but more of laying in a wet puddle in the laundry room... :( :( I heard it was a fun night.

I think your talking:

JD Single Barrel. They individually number each bottle they send out with the barrel number it came from. I've had a small sample of this and I loved it. I might splurge one day, buy a bottle, and sit on it until the Nats win the World Series.

Gentleman Jack ain't cheap - but it's worth it. It's definitely one to get at duty free.
