if i were a gm, i would've went after millz and dukes hmmmmmmmmm....but i would've signed milton bradley as a free agent. we could use his bat.

milton in left + dukes in center + millz in right =  :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: that would be the most gangsta outfield ever assembled.

We're going to need the whole list below as news of Milton Bradley comes to light.

It was a metaphor much like the often used "so sue me", like we actually would. I used a metaphor in the same vein as court terms to express complete and utter distaste towards his ridiculous opinions, if you can even call them that. Personally, the more he posts the more I believe he is a clever little troll that doesn't even believe half of what he posts.

Get over it. Cite me, fight me, light me, but I'll raise you 20.

According to Dan Kaplan of CSN Chicago, the Chicago Cubs appear set to sign free agent outfielder Milton Bradley to a multi-year contract.  The signing should be announced sometime next week.

Please let it be the Cubs or better yet some of smuck that signs Milton Bradley.

I'm not as vehemently opposed to Bradley as everyone else is.

he's not my first choice, but I'd be ok with it if we got him.

Milledge-Dukes-Bradley  from left to right.

my only question is, is he healthy enough to play the field on a daily basis?

Bradley hit .313/.414/.590 with 11 HRs and 5 2B in 42 games with San Diego in 2007.

.321/.436/.563 with 22 HRs and 33 2B in 126 games with Texas last season.

he's a switch hitter as well.

attitude issues aside, he'll fit the bill for a left-handed bat.

like i said, not my first choice, but he'll do.

I'm more opposed to the flurry of "Milton Bradley celebration"  and "most gangsta outfield ever" threads that will be unleashed upon this message board if we sign him than Bradley himself.

He can hit. Too bad we don't need a DH.

We don't need any more OFers! Especially not cancers like Bradley.

of course we don't.

but everyone wants Dunn, and he's an outfielder. (don't give a crap about his piddly little 100 games in his career at 1B, he's an outfielder).

Willingham can move to first.

seems like nobody is good enough for this team.  and if they are good enough, then why the hell would they decided to sign with this lowly team.

thing is, there was only one hitter on the FA market that fit our needs perfectly, and we didn't get him.

we need a left-handed run producer. and at the present time, every single one that we could sign in FA that makes sense is an outfielder.

so do we do nothing, and just go with what we had last season?

Bradley was very frustrating while at Montreal.  A '5 tool enigma'.  There were a couple of events that turned all 14 of us (Expo fans) against him.

Not sure how much he has turned it (attitude) around, but for those worried about Manny's attitude, Bradley should be a red flag as well.

Nats outfield

as long as they are producing runs and playing solid defense, they can do whatever retarded dance they want to do.

I bet if Bradley had played for the Orioles you'd have no problems with it.

I would rather have Dunn than Bradley, but whatever we need a bat.  As long as he keeps his head on straight I'm fine.

And no I wouldn't have like Bradley if he played for the O's sorry.

that is exactly my point.

Dunn is my first choice.  but I won't rage at the FO if we end up with Bradley.

neither would i.  that's why i don't see the need for a shot @ me and the o's 8-)

and p.s. i wouldn't want bradley to play CF.  dukes is a better option out there.  hell even milledge too.

I think Plan A is Dunn, Plan B is Bradley.
Plan A was Tex.

btw, Manny is a huge point of embarassment for Boras.

he blew off the Dodgers and now he has to go crawling back to them because nobody else is showing interest in Manny.

Half the people on this board could be total caricatures and we'd never know. But as much as someone annoys me, I don't ask them to off themselvers. Maybe it's just me, but I think you are more creative than that.

So am I. Plan A is in the history books as a failure.  The jury is still out on whether Plan B will be a success or not.
