Honestly, I don't think Tex does that much for Washington. Like many have said, a lot of the people in DC are transient and don't give a hoot about the Nats and probably could care less who Mark Teixeira is.

I'm truly worried about the Angels in all this.

Sorry I snapped at you. I just get fired up when people defend Jim Bowden. I live in a DC suburb, and root for the Nationals as well (never over the O's though) and I continue to watch Jim Bowden flush the Nats down the toilet with his stupidity.
