what are the chances that O'Conner stays in the rotation after JP gets off the DL? i guess Livan and JP are certs. Prtiz looked better last night than he has all season, and Tony Armas has looked solid IMO.

Bob Carpenter (talking about mets fans): Have you forgotten where we are?

Paciorek: (pause) I'm trying to.

SIX outs to go.  Lo Duca is 2 for 3.  The rest of the Mess are like 0 for 20.

Youre new here. I'm supposed to be the only one who thinks Ortiz is worth anything

I'm afraid that Astacio's got dibz on the fifth spot with the kind of managing we have although a :Patterson, Armas, O'Conner, Livo, Ortiz rotation sounds pretty good

As for the Carpenter/ Paciorek comedy stylings, theyre pretty good sometimes, if only i had a pound for every time Carpenter said Jam Job though!!

Hey - great pic NatUK.  I think the Nats will keep O'Connor in the lineup.  As long as he keeps rolling, he'll keep pitching.

Everyone agree?

Stanton is solid.  And I'll point out that he HAS been solid for the Nats.  For whatever reason, people don't seem to give him the credit he deserves.

I wonder if Frank fills out the lineup cards, or if he leaves that for someone else to do?

(I had to catch up with the posts.)
No, Frankie does not prepare them.  There was an article in either the Washington Post or USA Today last year.  An assistant started doing it last year and said Frank sometimes looks at it, but pretty much lets him use his own judgment.

Byrd as leadoff with Soriano to drive him in is working out nicely.
Blimey, luv that Union Jack with the W!

That homerun was, frighteningly, inevitable.  :x
