Frank has absolutely no feel for the running game.  He squanders way too many outs.

Zambrano's ERA against the Nats- 3.60.  Against everyone else= 12.00.

To be fair, the Mets had some great defensive plays there.

Zambrano's ERA against the Nats is now 3.27.  Still 12.00 against the rest of the league.

Wasn't it thoughtful of the Nats to help poor Zambrano save his arm that inning... They are so nice that way...

I'm not too big a fan of this Damian Jackson. Bad baserunning.  Bad defense.  Bad hitting.

Time to take Ortiz out when Matsui hits a double.  That guy is a lightweight.

No, probably not.  I've pretty much lost all faith in the Nats to win any game, ever.  Each game, I expect us to lose right up until the last out no matter how much we lead by (which is usually a negative number these days )

Ortiz keeps barely getting out of these jams...we can't say we haven't got any breaks tonight.

This is by far Ortiz's best game of the year.   Too bad we haven't been able to back him up with some O.   Same thing that happened Saturday when Livo pitched, but at least you could rationalize that Carpenter was pitching.   There's really no excuse for not scoring a little more of Zambrano.   Everybody else has.

Maybe we can score in the top of the 7th and the bullpen will hold the lead & we'll win one.

I know Schneider is streaky, but the way he holds the bat, I can't see how he EVER hits anything.  His stance looks even worse in person.  He should try choking up on the bat a bit and move his hands away from his chest.  Proabably wouldn't hurt if he stood a little lower and spread his feet apart some, too.

I don't claim to know anything, but seriously, Schneider's stance just looks so impossibly weak.

Livan Hernandez to pinch hit?  I know he's a pretty good hitter but     Now I've seen everything!
