I hope that they show the new episodes every week without skipping weeks or even months like they used to do.
That was what they advertised would happen in 2008, to make up for having nothing to air for 9 months. As far as I know, they kept their word; but I didn't watch anyway - I didn't care anymore. The problem with a show like this is that people have things come up and miss shows. A rapidly advancing plot causes a growing number to drop out, since they don't know what's going on anymore. If it advances too slowly, so you can miss one and still keep up, but it irritates those who are glued to it. They announced the definite end before the 2008 episodes aired, to try to prevent people from tuning out. The idea was to advance the plot, to stop irritating fans. Too late for me...
A show like
Seinfeld or
Frazier could run for years, since they were virtually all stand alone episodes. You could miss 2 or 3 weeks and still get a good laugh.
