Zim says "Take that, Spidernat!"

No doubt. I'm saying it again next time he's up to bat.

Whether some will admit it or not, not signing Crow was a big set-back.

That remains to be seen.

Is Aaron Crow Jesus Christ or something? Why does he continue to "pop up" in discussions and why do some continue to hail him as some sort of missed messiah?

Jacobs is one awful defense first-baseman.

QFT  Although "spidernat eats crow" after bashing Zimmerman would've been more fitting.

He would have been our #1 pitching prospect almost immediately. He throws 95+ and is supposed to be very close to ML-ready.

He chose not to sign. I think it's clear he did not want to play in our organization. Therefore, he's at least one more season from being MLB ready.

I hate baserunning blunders like that. It's been happening way too often lately.

The fan who caught Zimmerman's blast in the seats strangely looks like an overweight Jose Guillen.

whatever at least milledge got a hit and stolen base helping out my fantasy team.  i don't think we get caught stealings in our league haha.

but speaking of strasburg he's gonna be a beast.

Yep, most of the onus goes on Crow for being a douchebag but for the Lerners not to pony up a little bit more to just get the damn deal done sucks.

With the 9A pick next year we might take a HS player that isn't ready to contribute for 4-5 years.

I am also quite surprised to see so many here positive that we will get the #1 pick and that #1 pick will be Strasburg. A lot can happen between now and then.

That's definitely true. But Strasburg was the only college pitcher to be named to the USA Olympic team, which is impressive. I think we need a bona fide 1B prospect or 2B/SS prospect and if we get the #2 pick and one of those is available, I'm just as happy.

I wish the Nats would just be able to hit homeruns or strike out. We'd probably be higher in the standings. :(

You can't predict injuries but if he stays healthy I don't see how he won't be the first pick. Dude is supposed to be as good as Lincecum if not better.

Typical Marlins. Solo HR and then 3 straight strikeouts.  :?
