Wright isn't half the third baseman that Z-man is.

QFMFT! Zimmerman's glove >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wright's glove.

sigh. You know it's bad when we have no choice but to have a LH batter at the plate against Santana with the bases loaded. Awful.

Depends on what we're hoping for.

i want Hernandez as our starting 2b on opening day.

Hernandez >>>>>> Bonifacio.

ideally, i would like Cano if he's indeed on the trading block this winter.

Wright probably said that to himself, every time he played in the All Star game, for the last three years..

Our offense has looked actually how I imagined before the game. We never learn our lesson or improve on past mistakes.

I was mainly talking defensively. There's no doubt who's better with the glove. No doubt.

Zim would be putting up Wright-like numbers if he were in a lineup with Reyes, Beltran, etc.

He really does.  Every time things get bad on the mound, you can see it on his face.  He looked like he was about to crap himself earlier on.

So you're saying Zimmerman can only be considered a by product of those around him? Maybe the other guys are only that good because they bat around Wright. Would you say that about Pujols, Ramirez or A-Rod?

Yeah, look at the team Adrian Gonzalez has around him.  No excuses there.

And what about Dukes?  Why is he able to thrive hitting fifth in our line-up while Z can't even hit that well hitting third?

Wright the fraud is 1/17 this series with 7 Ks.

Even Bob and Don have admitted that we figured out how to get that bum out.

Some guys are studs and can hit in any lineup you put them in. Others are the by product of those around him. Who knows, maybe one day Zimmerman will become the type of player that can hit in any lineup or even the type of player that can make others better.

Ho-hum, another multi-hit game for Guz. His BA is up to .317.

  I bet we can find similar, if not longer, streaks for Zimmerman.

The Z-man has more hits tonight than Wright has all week.

Zimmerman is worth the price of admission alone. He's been great tonight. Awesome defense and 2 hits against the best pitcher in the NL.

Milledge is having a monstrosity of a game. i forgot to comment on his misplay in center, that was a catastrophe.

We have stranded an inordinate amount of runners over these last two games. Sick. So many golden opps gone to waste.

Lastings is challenged in center but he's going to be our CF for the foreseeable future and i need to accept that and realize he's going to improve. he's got the tools.

i just hate to see Dukes instincts and abilities wasting away in right while Lastings struggles in center.
