i have 0 confidence in Perez, all i ask is that he gives us a chance to win and doesn't get pounded early.

i really, really, really, REALLY want a 4 game sweep of the hated Mets. we've got 3 more to go, but i think it's feasible.

an intriguing subplot to the game is DUKES vs pelfrey round 2.

The Mutts are no doubt pissed (but paranoid) about last night so they will probably come out fighting strong, but half-ass and desperate. If we can win this game, we can seriously screw with these guys heads.

I'd be shocked if we pulled this one out. Perez is going to get lit up and Pelfrey will probably stifle our offense.

I hope Dukes takes the first pitch he sees either 565 feet into the Red Loft or hits a 150 MPH line-drive right back through the box.

Lineups posted. Man, Bonifacio is getting the shaft.  Don't know why Casto isn't getting a start against one of these righties either.

anybody think something will erupt tonight? the Mutts might be feeling feisty trying to light a fire, we'll extinguish it.

Nice grab Dukes. Perez is a bum. Very fortunate in the first inning.

Awful ump forces Zim to swing at a pitch in the dirt.

This ump is garbage. He's giving Pelfrey every freaking pitch even remotely close to the strike zone. BS. Perez didn't get the same calls in the top of the inning.

Yeah one pitch to Zim and another inside to Dukes, has me thinking this umpire is wearing a Mets jersey underneath his gear.

I'm not one for giving MASN a lot of credit (other than their pre and post game shows, and Don Sutton) but that was a great interview by Debbi Taylor with Stan Kasten.

Guzman may finish with 185 hits this season.  Would love to see him get really hot and hit 200, but that's stretching it.
