I couldn't decide between Belliard and Milledge. They both had awesome months. What do you guys think?

Milledge had six home runs and six stolen bases last month? Dang. I wonder if he could really pull off a 30-30 season.

Yeah, I didn't know that either.

Our starters were pretty terrible in August. Hanrahan and Shell were the only two pitchers w/ solid numbers.

Don't forget Zimmerman, the numbers aren't all the way there, but he hit .320. Its nice to see him rebounding.

I like Belliard for August.  He brought in runs when no one else was hitting.

I've been impressed with how Millege has improved in the field -- gawd he looked like a puppy chasing butterflies out there at the beginning of the year ... now he's pretty solid ...

Belly and Milledge both did well, Milledge on the more extra hits and rbis, including homers.. But Belly did better at the plate with fewer abs and same hits as milledge.

Great to see we can do some good, but too little to late lol

Belly's August simply showed the solid hitter that he is and always has been. Belly's boosted his average to .280!

i know you guys disagree, but i am completely fine with Belly being our starting 1b on opening day next yr. he's one of the most solid and reliable hitters on the team.

Milledge also had a great month. he showcased his quick swing that produces some POWER! he's got a SHOT at a 20/20 season. 8 homers is a reach though.

He also cost the Nats two runs on Saturday night's game with his GOD AWFUL defense.  He belongs in the AL so he can be a DH to show off, "the solid hitter that he is and always has been."
