MLB 2k8 team

I made a franchise with the Nationals, I played about 1-2 games a week in the season, and I'm in the 2nd season. In the first season, I made the playoffs but lost in the NLCS to the Mets 4-2. This is what my team looks like:

C Jesus Flores 78 (I edited him before the franchise started)
1B Justin Morneau 92
2B Alonzo Rivera 70 (a prospect, he has 81 potential)
3B Ryan Zimmerman 89
SS Stephen Drew 79
LF Elijah Dukes 72
CF Hunter Pence 85
RF Wily Mo Pena 81

But my pitching is the best:

SPs are:

Jake Peavy 95
Matt Cain 92
Freddy Garcia 79
John Lannan 75 (Also edited him)
Jason Bergmann 74

My closer is Dan Wheeler 82

I was just curious if you guys had done anything like this.

I tend to get bored of seasons but I may make a Nats season.

I usually keep the regular nats team and trade off most the guys as the season goes on for no names with good potential and it works, but I play every single game in the season and dont sim any

I typically pick one pitcher who I don't like and sim those games that he is supposed to pitch.

It is ridiculous how they made Redding 64, he deserves an 82 know and Flores was an 60 but know should be a 76 atleast

They make the rankings BEFORE the season...

I know...But Redding had a mid 3 ERA last year and Flores was so clutch.

And Lannan a 64, and Hill and Bergmann 72. Why do they keep making Patterson 79?

IMO the rotation should be (with updates):

Lannan 81 (86 potential)
Redding 80 (80 potential)
Bergmann 78 (84 potential)
Perez 76 (79 potential)
Hill 75 (85 potential)
