Wade has won the last two Skills Challenges, Kapono won last year's 3-Point Contest, Gerald Green won the '07 Dunk Contest, and the same Detroit team won last season's Shooting Stars.

I was going to get excited for All-Star Weekend...then Baron Davis was snubbed just because he pissed off New Orleans by leaving for Golden State.  That's when I realized the whole thing is a joke.

The "Superman" was AWESOME! I thought Green's "Birthday Cake" dunk should've been a 50, too. I don't get why Green didn't just do a 540, though. He's got the hops for it. Really great contest. Best in a long while.

cupcake > superman.

superman shouldn't have counted. he thew it in, that's not classified as a dunk, more like a lay-up. it was impressive but it wasn't a dunk.

howard's first dunk in the final round >>>>>>>>>>>every dunk in the contest.

i'm talking about the one where he caught it in mid air, threw it off the glass, and caught it again.

this one:

also, people don't realize just how high you have to get up to be able to just throw the ball DOWN into the basket like that.

like i said, it was impressive but it WAS NOT A DUNK. i do agree though, the first dunk in the final round was the best.

i was hoping my guy rudy gay would have a better showing, o well.
