Dancing with the Stars

Does anyone else share my guilty pleasure of watching Dancing with the Stars? The new season is starting up tonight, I think (have to check so I can set the recorder). I didn't watch the first season, except for the final dance-off, which got a lot of press. But I was drawn in by wanting to see Jerry Rice and Emmit Smith trip the light fantastic in subsequent seasons. Not sure who's on this time.

I like it but I usually watch HEROs at that time.   :doh:  Missed it last night due to the ballgame!

You and Sally would get along great - she loves that show.  She's a music professor, and loves dancing.  Meanwhile, I have all the dancing talent of a fence post.  The last time I danced was Christmas, when Jimmy Buffet's Christmas Island came on the stero, and she twirled me around the family room.  I'm not even sure, but I think she was leading.  L*rd knows I wasn't.

I got 2 left feet too.  Actually I'm extremely right dominated (right handed, lead foot).  Therefore when I have to change direction in anything, even skating and lead or lean to the left, I'm a disaster!   :-[

Ever see that movie with Richard Gere?  I think it was called Shall We Dance.  Good "chick flick" about a guy (Gere) trying to learn how to dance.  Jennifer Lopez is his teacher so there's something for everyone!

NatsAddict, I like to dance, too, but we don't do that much of it, either (annual dinner dances, weddings). Dancing around the family room is fun!

calsgr8, I'm a lefty, so I guess that I'm left-dominated. All I know is that whenever I have to make a decision about which way to turn on the road, I always pick the wrong way!

I'll have to put the Gere movie in my NetFlix queue.
