I know it's early, but as of right now, who would you like to see become president.
I'm not going to make this in poll format, because there are just too many candidates to name.
My vote will probably be for Mitt Romney. He's outspoken on a lot of issues, and he agrees with the things I do along the lines of immigration, the economy, and protecting our children.
Romney is still on my consideration list, but I am supporting Ron Paul. I did have a lot of hope for Obama, and would love to have him as a neighbor, but could only vote for him as a vote against somebody else. All the other (close to) front runners, and would be front runners if they ever announce, if running against Obama, would result in my vote for Obama. If I don't have a choice of Romeny or Paul, or Obama as an emergency backup on the ballot, I'll probably have my first write-in on a presidential ballot.
I am in general agreement with Paul on economics, immigration, security, individual rights, and health care.
Only the family/children issues, I am alone on my side of the family in that I am pro-choice (Paul, who was an OB/Gyn, is firmly pro-life) and don't believe Roe v. Wade should even be an issue. To me, a much more important social issue is Kelo v. New London (the tragic eminent domain decision). I tend to be conservative (please do not read Republican into that or else I'll have to take a hot shower and flea-dip) on most economic issues, and liberal on most social issues. However, since the liberal candidates overwhelmingly support the Kelo v. New London decision, and generally all issues which eliminate property rights and individuals rights in order to provide to the government so that the government can provide for "the greater good" with a d@mned shopping mall or other such BS, I guess I'm considered to be a conservative on that social issue.
BTW - the Democrats are not allowing any FL delegates to vote at their convention. That's a sure way to win support.
