Detwiler has second consecutive great start
« on: August 27, 2007, 07:13:02 pm »
Potomac's second game of their double header yesterday was postponed after 1 inning (Potomac leading 4-0).  Today, Detwiler started the 2nd inning and pitched the duration of the game (only 7 innings since Potomac has another game to play tonight).

Ross' line (VS Myrtle Beach): 6 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 1 BB 3 SO 0 HR

In Ross' last 2 starts he has not given up a run (2 wins, 11 IP 5 H 0 R 0 ER 4 BB 6 SO).   :worship:

Awesome! Do September call ups use up options? If not, I honestly wouldn't mind giving him a couple of starts here against the teams that we most need him for in the future.

That's a very informative and excellent update sportsfan. You see now how not all your threads have to be rigged for explosion? Of course it will only take one bad start before... well you all know the routine (insert explosion here).

Ummm, also add 2006 1st rounder to that.  Colton Willems pitched 6 shutout innings in Vermont tonight, even though the Lake Monster bullpen caved.  Willems is now 3-1 and lowered his ERA to 1.81.

They do not. But you still have to make room on the 40-man.
