I’m not sure what I missed here. Pirates had the first pick and selected Skenes. We had no shot at him. Seems like the choice was between Crews and Langford. And most experts had Crews rated higher. Not just Rizzo.

I feel bad for Pirates fans because he will probably miss a year and half of his time with them for TJS before he heads to one of the top teams.

overcame 2 bad plays in the 8th and 9th. Rosario made a bad toss to Lowe that was dropped with 1 out in the 8th but the next guy gidp. In the 9th, Finny forgot to cover on a gb to Lowe, but they got 4 outs.

Didn’t see the game, but sounds like plenty of boneheaded plays. One thing not to spend money, another to tolerate careless play year in year out. If Mini Me wants to save money he can replace Davey with an AI that matches lefties/righties, pretty much all Davey does.
