5 runs. Should be enough to win most mlb games, let alone not get blown out.

Nice for Lowe, though

Are those supposed to be cherry blossoms on the helmet? They look too pointy.

Rays 10,046 today at the AAA field, more than the Marlins had last night at their MLB stadium

would have helped if ball 1 wasn't called strike one. He's not getting any close balls called correctly. Messes up his approach because he likes to work counts.

He can work the count all he wants. He hasn't come close to hitting a breaking ball

Bullpen finishes with 108 pitches in 4 IP, after 100 pitches in 4 IP Thurs, to go with 12 walks.

He K'd 5 times in 5 PAs, this is more than a bad call or two.  You don't take a guy with a couple months MLB experience and have him 8th one day, 2nd the next.  Horrible for building confidence.

Is there some prerequisite for the Phillies that you had to play for the Nats to be signed by the team?

Poche, Sims, and Ribalta: maybe they could fill some bench pots in Rochester.

Two members of the 2019 WS team appearing for Philly in this season.

Nice game for Lowe.

Years and years of treating the bullpen as a place to develop trade bait to make up for poor drafts has finally caught up to them.

Still not worried about Crews. I'm pretty sure Harper had a 5 K game in 2012 as well. We'll see how he is in a month or two.

Most teams would spend some money to fill the gap.  They certainly have some to spend.  It’s a Dollar General bullpen.

Thing is, there were a lot of arms this year available. I get closer is the last touch for a team trying to contend. But not to get a real $10 million arm was a huge mistake.

Already looking like Gore's starts are going to be our best chance of a win, in each series. And, unless there's some rapid improvement, we need to give Poche the push...

Unfortunate that, from distance, the CC jerseys look like something's gone very wrong in the wash... ;)

He was all that before Darnell Coles go aholt of him.
