“Dylan Crews smacked back-to-back doubles to end his night this evening.

⚾️ He's hitting .310 since the start of May (30/97).
⚾️ He's hitting .384 over a 7-game hit streak (10/26)“

He's coming along, another 3-4 weeks of this and he'll be ready for AAA.  Whether they actually move him up is another story.

“Dylan Crews now has an OPS of .816 on the season. He hit 2 RBI doubles yesterday for @HbgSenators. In RISP situations, he's hitting .382 with 31 RBIs and 21 hits, 10 of which are for extra bases. His .382 average with RISP is the second-best of all qualified players in the Double-A Eastern League. Overall, he leads the Senators with 33 RBIs, which is tied for fifth-most in the Eastern League.“

Call him up. Wood has vanished and Crews is better than Rosario and Winker. Nats need some life, and Crews is a ball of energy...as well as a skilled ballplayer.

He needs some time in AAA before heading to DC.  Moreover, there is zero percent chance the ownership would allow their minister of propaganda to promote a top prospect this close to the Super 2 deadline.

the right time frame for him coming up to the majors is probably 2d half of August. That will retain rookie status for next year. I would think they'd want him to have a 2 month run in AAA, so a bump to Rochester over the next couple of weeks makes a lot of sense.
