Back to back starts without giving up a homer. Also managed to not give up a dinget in Coors

Gray looked good for five innings. Maybe he got tired or maybe the Rockies figured him out in their third time through the order.

And maybe twice through the order is the new standard for starting pitchers.

(Such a chance. Warren Spahn's advice to a young pitcher: "When you pitch to Willie Mays in the 6th, you have to plan how you will pitch to him in the 9th".)
