Eaton has basically been as advertised minus the time missed due to a fluky injury. Gio miraculously turned from the worst pitcher in baseball to very good this year. In hindsight, a young starting pitcher like him is more valuable. Credit to him and the White Sox for making the adjustments and improving his velo and stuff the way they did, because it was garbage when we dealt him. However, at the time the deal made sense as we got something we needed and was a sure thing and gave up question marks. Lopez could still one day become an adequate starter, but to date he's been very bad. I don't have any remorse over losing him other than it would be nice to have more depth of arms to try and develop.
