Remember when users here wanted Rauch

to replace Cordero as closer?? lol well thankfully none of you guys work for the Nats. Cordero is settling down and Rauch is going the other way.

They both are very inconsistent.  Rauch had pitched like 10 scoreless innings up until Saturday.  Now he has blown 2 straight saves in his last two appearances.

Rauch needs more hair.  How can he possibly be expected to function like this??  Do the Lerners have some Steinbrennerish policy about appropriate grooming befitting highly paid professional athletes??  What cack.  Wookies need full shag to shut down a game.

The way Cordero has been pitching for so far this season, a monkey with one arm couldn't do much worse.

If Cordero happens drop by, scan this thread and read this, he can try pulling up his britches, sucking it in and do the job he's supposedly being paid for, which is not to collect a regular paycheck for blowing every second save opportunity... Cordero asked for and got the money he wanted. What he has to do now, is show us that he deserves it!
