Aaron Judge as a total of 461 major league plate appearances. Maybe we are getting ahead of ourselves a bit?

Royce hadn't had one before he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated...

I mean, if you want to bet against him sustaining major league stardom I'm sure you'll have plenty of takers.

I guess you're pretty new here so you don't know that this forum has a tendency to do just that. There have been many Nats who were anointed the next great star here only to see them turn into crap.

:lmao:

That's one for sure. There were posters here wanting to lock down John Lannan because they thought he was an ace.

Nyjer Morgan was insane for 49 games in 2009! Then after that he was, well, just insane.

:hysterical:

This all comes to a head pretty quickly though.  If he wins the AL MVP, there is only one season until Bryce hits free agency.   Judge's performance may not be a complete deal breaker to signing Harper, but it's got to be a factor.  Judge will be going into his 4th year by then, which is about the time you start thinking about long term deals.

You guys are clearly forgetting the great Felipe Lopez, who always gave this team 110%.  I believe there is still a statue of him in the weight room.

How can we forget FLop! How about the wonderful Garrett Mock?
