It won’t be until Monday evening that the National Park Service will make a decision about whether to postpone the fireworks on the National Mall. The fireworks would only be postponed if there is heavy rain, thunderstorms or high winds.

University of Maryland fireworks displayed have been postponed until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. For full details on that event, including seating and parking, you can visit their site.
The
Greenbelt fireworks display has been rescheduled for Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. That display will still be held at Buddy Attick Park. For more information, you can visit their website.
The
Gaithersburg fireworks display has been cancelled, to be rescheduled for Friday, July 8. However, if you’d still like to celebrate, the city will have an indoor festival today from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Activity Center in Bohrer Park. There will be live music, games, inflatables, food vendors, and more.
The White House has also cancelled the Fourth of July event scheduled to be on the South Lawn. Evening activities will still go on as planned, including performances from Janelle Monae and Kendrick Lamar.

Capitol Fourth performers are under cover, so that PBS show at 8:00 pm has never been postponed. It's headlined by Motown legend Smokey Robinson, classic rock hitmaker Kenny Loggins and current rock star Gavin DeGraw. Tom Bergeron, former host of ABC’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and current host of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” has hosted the “A Capitol Fourth” show four out of the past five years.
“The Voice” Season 10 winner Alisan Porter will sing the national anthem. Another “Voice” alum, Season 3 champ Cassadee Pope, will be on deck, along with “Hamilton” star Christopher Jackson, “Glee” star Amber Riley, musical prodigy Jackie Evancho, Tony winner Sutton Foster, Grammy winner Yolanda Adams, the cast of Gloria Estefan’s Broadway musical “On Your Feet” and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of pops conductor Jack Everly.
Ret. General Colin L. Powell will help salute the 75th anniversary of the USO, the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, and Team USA as it embarks on the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Figure skater Scott Hamilton, who won the gold medal in 1984, will lead the Olympic salute.
